The National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast is an annual event which normally takes place physically in Westminster Hall and is attended by church leaders from all over the United Kingdom, who attend with their MP.

Due to Covid-19, 2020’s event took place online and was livestreamed from Westminster Hall on Tuesday 30 June.  This meant that for the first time ever anyone could attend, and more than 3000 Parliamentarians, Church leaders and Christians joined live from across the UK to pray for our country, the NHS and other key workers, Parliament and the Government, as well as to reflect upon the message of hope, peace and loving service that the Christian faith brings to our society.

The event was hosted by Marsha de Cordova MP and the main speaker was the Bishop of Kensington, Revd Dr Graham Tomlin, who spoke on the theme ‘Hope and peace in a time of fear and suffering’.

A full video recording of the breakfast as well as the component parts can be found on the Christians in Parliament website.
