A Lasting Legacy of Hope

Premier, a lasting legacy of faith, hope and love since 1995 – be part of the story for future generations

Premier's Key Relationships Director

So many of Premier’s supporters have been with us right from the very beginning, some from even before Premier launched in 1995.  Throughout those 25 years it has been a joy and a privilege to speak with thousands of our listeners and supporters, many for whom Premier is a valued friend and companion, meeting them at their point of need, wherever they are, day or night. And they are passionate about wanting others to know that in Christ, we have a hope and future no matter what is happening in the world.

James and Cathy are two such supporters who have shown such a wonderful commitment to the work of this ministry in so many ways over the years.  They told me Premier has helped them grow in their faith and they want others to know, long into the future, the salvation we have in Jesus Christ -

''Premier is important to us personally and the teaching has made us grow in our knowledge and understanding of the salvation that we have. And the desire that others would know that as well. When we were sorting out our wills and everything else that goes with it - we were praying and talking about what we were going to be doing and decided that we wanted to give a legacy to Premier. We wanted that work to carry on even after we're with the Lord.''

Jean is also someone who wants more and more people to hear about God’s love and to ensure that not one single person misses out on the life-saving message of Jesus.  She let me know that she has included a gift in her Will to Premier and told me-

''I have really valued having Premier as a constant companion over the last 20 years, particularly as I have been widowed for 16 years and spend many hours alone.

I think it is important to support Premier’s ministry as it can reach so many people with the Gospel in their own homes and cars etc., People who may never know God’s love any other way…''

Joy & Peter who have encouraged the work of this ministry over so many years, also felt it important to include a gift to Premier in their will and put it this way -

''By leaving a legacy to Premier we believe, along with other likeminded Christians, we can help ensure this vital ministry continues to bless people into the future''

Making your Will and leaving a legacy is simple, and is a positive, selfless and generous act. As you put in place the things that will bless your loved ones and perhaps people you don’t even know, you are paying forward the blessings God has given you in your life.

Whether you have been with Premier for many years, or have just recently found us; as you reflect on the people and causes you care about and the kind of future you want for them, our prayer is that, if you have made your Will or intend to do this, that you will consider a gift to Premier to ensure this ministry will have a lasting impact for generations to come. We know that providing for family and loved ones come first, but having done that, a gift of whatever size to Premier will ensure we are building The Kingdom long into the future. A gift of just 1% of your estate could make a world of difference.

If you have already included a gift in your will to Premier or intend to do this, I would love to hear from you so we can record your pledge of support.

If you have yet to make your Will, and this something you are considering, Premier has partnered with Bequeathed, an easy to use online Will service where you can make a Will at no cost to you. In addition, should you need help from a solicitor, they can put you in touch with one.

Should you have questions about making a will and the importance of legacies to our work, Premier has created a simple legacy booklet full of useful information which you can download here.  Or please don’t hesitate to call me if I can help.

If you would like to include a gift to Premier in your existing will, your solicitor or will writer will be able to update your Will for you. You can also add in a pecuniary or specific legacy gift yourself by completing a Codicil and keeping it lodged in a secure place with your Will.

This is a time for prayer and for coming together even if we can’t be in the same physical space, and it is our prayer for you and your loved ones that Premier through all its outputs will encourage, comfort and support you through these unprecedented times.
